General description
Water level meter provide an accurate measurement method of level meter, usually used for the measurement of water level in the drilling holes or water level pipe ,particularly suitable for hydropower engineering underground water level or artificially inspection dam observation.This instrument can be used in constructio period,but also can be used as the long-term safety monitoring project. comply with the dam safety monitoring technology standard(SL60-94)
Working principle
The measurement of the water level by the following two parts: 1. Underground material, it is composed by water level pipe and bottom cover (not include in the system,it is need purchased separately) Ground receiver-ruler water level meter, it is composed by detect head, ruler cable, receiver system and cable reel. Detect head: made by steel, inside is a water resistance contact point. When the contact point contact water, the receiver system will open, and when the contact point leave the water,the receiver system will close. Ruler cable: it made by ruler and cable, and use plastic technology keep them together, and avoid the steel corrosion and simple the operation,make the read more convenient and accurate. Receiver system:it is composed by sounder,indicate light. 2 the green button in the panel is test button, when push this button, light on and buzzing, that indicate the circuit is in good condition. Or else, the circuit have problem or the battery has no power.
Use methodIn measuring, make the cable reel rotate and push the power button,put the detect head in the water pipe, put the ruler cable in hand and make it drop slowly. When the detect head contact point contact water, the receiver system buzzer will sound. Then you can read the data of the ruler cable and can know the water level.(if the surrounding voice is loudly, maybe you can hear buzzer,so you can observe the indicate light and voltage meter)
Maintenance
Because the system use battery to supply power, so when you finish test,you should keep it power off.Power supply is 9V,when it has no power,you should open the cover and change it. After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled in cable reel. And put them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of the product, it can not put in water horizontally, the cable cannot bucking,especially the ends. The detect head should carry and put softly and avoid vibration.
Storage
Customer should open the box and check the product when you receive it.
Storage temperature-10~+40ºC,humidity less than80%,no aggressive gas.
