The HERMetic UTImeter Gtex is a portable gas tight liquid level gauge designed for closed gauging of hydrocarbons and chemicals. The unit is used for custody transfer, inventory control measurement and free water detection on marine vessels and shore tanks. Connected to a HERMetic vapour control valve fixed on the tank, the HERMetic UTImeter Gtex avoids any gas release during operation.

We produce replacement MMC uti tape hermetic uti meter tape.
UTI gauges are mainly used to measure the oil level or oil-water interface on tanker vessels.
UTIs are composed of the detecting head and the display device.
Depending on the tank's depth and the manufacturer of the detector, their tape length can vary between 15m to 37m long.
Usually their thermometer sensors read temperatures between 10ºC - 90ºC.
To make sure that they remain correct in measurements UTIs have to be calibrated once a year by specialised technicians.
