Water level meters are used to measure the depth of water in wells, boreholes, and standpipes. Our Electronic Water level Meters Series use sound waves to measure the water level. The sound waves are sent from a transmitter to a receiver. The time it takes for the sound waves or ultrasonic waves to travel from the transmitter to the receiver is then used to calculate the water level.

Working principle

The measurement of the water level by the following two parts: 1. Underground material, it is composed by water level pipe and bottom cover (not include in the system,it is need purchased separately) Ground receiver-ruler water level meter, it is composed by detect head, ruler cable, receiver system and cable reel. Detect head: made by steel, inside is a water resistance contact point. When the contact point contact water, the receiver system will open, and when the contact point leave the water,the receiver system will close. Ruler cable: it made by ruler and cable, and use plastic technology keep them together, and avoid the steel corrosion and simple the operation,make the read more convenient and accurate. Receiver system:it is composed by sounder,indicate light. 2 the green button in the panel is test button, hewn push this button, light on and buzzing, that indicate the circuit is in good condition. Or else, the circuit have problem or the battery has no power. 

 

 

 

Maintenance
 Because the system use battery to supply power, so when you finish test,you should keep it power off.Power supply is 9V,when it has no power,you should open the cover and change it. After measurement, please keep the detect head and cable clean, cable rolled in cable reel. And put them in a good condition. Unauthorized disassembly of the product, it can not put in water horizontally, the cable cannot bucking,especially the ends. The detect head should carry and put softly and avoid vibration.

Customer should open the box and check the product when you receive it.

How to Use Our Water Level Meter

To measure the water level, follow these steps:
1. Rotate the cable reel and press the power button.
2. Place the probe into the underground water pipe
3. Hold the ruler cable in your hand and slowly lower it into the pipe.
4. When the probe contacts the water, the receiver system's buzzer will sound. If the surrounding noise is too loud to hear the buzzer, you can observe the indicator light and voltage meter instead. If the light and buzzer don't turn on, there may be a problem with the circuit or battery.
