Cat5e
Cat5e is one of the most popular Ethernet cable types used for deployments because of its ability to support Gigabit speeds at an affordable price.
Cat 5e can support speeds up to 1000 Mbps and is flexible enough for small space installations. For this reason, it is widely used in residential areas, and Cat5e is one of the least expensive cabling options on the market.

Cat6
Cat6 cables support speeds up to 10 Gbps and frequencies up to 250 MHz. These types of cables are more tightly stranded, with two or more strands per centimeter. It supports only 55-10 meters at 37 Gbps. category-6a
Cat6a Ethernet cable supports bandwidth frequencies up to 500 MHz. Cat6a cable is thicker and therefore less flexible than Cat6. This is why it is more suitable for industrial environments and less expensive.

Cat7
Cat7 is capable of transmitting up to 50 Gb of data at 40 meters and up to 15 Gb of data at 100 meters. This type of Ethernet cable has extensive shielding to reduce signal attenuation. It is relatively stiff compared to previous generations of cables.
