NEMA 5-20P Power Cords | 20A 125V Power Cables

Designed for 20 Amp NEMA 5 20r receptacles, a common household power outlet.
The NEMA 5-20R Outlet is the second most common wall outlet in North America and is starting to become the standard for many homes in the United States. The NEMA 5-15P can also be connected into this outlet, however it will never draw more than 15 Amps of power. Devices that require more power will utilize these 5-20P Plug power cables.
Adapting 5-20r receptacle to a NEMA 30a twist lock.
If your device or equipment uses the 30A nema twist lock, L5-30 you can still access power from your 5-20R outlet but you will need an adapter cable. We offer these adapter cables to help our customers conveniently access power without having to hire an electrician to update the receptacle type. It is worth noting that Coverting a locking plug to a non-locking plug is not always advised as it generally removes a precautionary feature (secure power connection) put in place by the manufacturer.
